The Science Junkies are Huw James and Greg Foot, experienced presenters, avid adventurers and self-confessed science geeks. With years spent boarding, climbing and surfing, as well as in the lab and out in the field, these daredevils bring to life the science of sport & adventure!

Greg & Huw have spent a long time in training; one half of their lives is the academic search for scientific knowledge, the other a high octane quest for adrenaline!

Huw says: "It’s such a treat to work in a field that combines my two great loves - outdoor adventure and the world of science. Don’t get me wrong, I work hard but when you get to work with the inspirational people I do, and get to see some of the things I’ve seen, why wouldn’t you want to become a Science Explorer?"

Striving for a way to communicate their passion for science, extreme sports and adventure, Huw & Greg hatched a plan to create a brand that could emcompass it all.

Greg says “The Science Junkie brand is bigger than just us two. It’s live interactive shows, it’s science expeditions, it’s TV shows, it’s a way of life for us and everyone else who is a science & adrenaline fan!”
